About this course

Reports only change decisions if the people reading them trust and understand them. This session is for the readers, not the builders: no software, no formulas, and plenty of real examples of numbers that looked fine and were not.

It is often run alongside a Power BI project, so that when the new reports arrive the managers receiving them are ready.

In-house option

For a leadership team we use your own reports as the examples, which makes for a lively session and usually a few immediate changes.

Outline

  1. 1The questions behind every chart. What is being measured, compared with what, over what period

  4. 4Asking for data. How to brief an analyst so the first answer is the useful one
