About this course
Most AI demos show a tool answering a question nobody in your business would ask. This day does the opposite: you bring the questions your managers ask every week, and we use Power BI, Copilot and ChatGPT to answer them properly, with the checks that stop a confident wrong number reaching the board.
It is hands-on from the first hour. Groups are kept small so every attendee builds, not watches, and the day ends with each person naming the first thing they will do differently on Monday.
In-house option
We run the same day for a single team, using your own data and your own systems. That version includes a short preparation call to agree the dataset and the questions.
Outline
- 1Morning. What Power BI, Copilot and ChatGPT each do well, and where they go wrong
- 2Building a report from a real dataset, with Copilot drafting measures and visuals
- 3Checking AI output. How to tell a good measure from a confident wrong one
- 4Afternoon. Natural-language questions over your data, and how to prepare a model for them
- 5Using ChatGPT for the work around the report: definitions, documentation, data cleaning
- 6Roadmap session. Where each attendee would apply this first, and what it needs

Before you come
- Comfortable with Excel and reading a Power BI report
- A laptop with Power BI Desktop installed (we send setup notes beforehand)
- A Microsoft 365 login; Copilot licence helpful but not required
