Twenty questions to answer before a Power BI project starts, with a score that tells you where the first month of work should go.
What is inside
Most Power BI projects that stall do so for reasons that were visible before they began: nobody agreed what "margin" meant, two systems used different customer codes, or the person who would own the model had no time to learn it.
The checklist walks through the four areas we look at before any build: the decisions the report must support, the data behind them, the platform and licences, and the people who will own it afterwards. Each section has five questions. Tick what is true today, add up the score, and the last page tells you what to do first at each level.
Who it is for
Finance directors, operations directors and IT managers who have been asked for "a dashboard" and want to make sure the project lands. It takes about twenty minutes to complete honestly.
